01 chevy truck lost overdrive. Quoted $1000. Didnt hear anything for 2 weeks, then says its done and it cost $2800! No warning or chance to make that decision what so ever. Reluctantly paid and left with a lousy 6 month warranty. 7 months later trans goes out an hr from home. He says “welp, warranty’s out”. Says part broke not his problem. Tried to say it was the way i drive? This as a work truck.

I would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. Horrible customer service, he will rarely return your call. Most times he will only contact you when he wants to be paid. Had some work done by him and the part failed 2 months into his 6 month warranty and he refused to back it up blaming the failure on the driver. He constantly goes back on his word and his story changes as much as his excuses. All around waste of time and money. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

If you prefer to spend your money with a business that wants to meet your needs, wants to work with your schedule, and respects you as a person, then you may want to forego Economy Transmission (E T)in Dover, PA.\r\n\r\nMy experience at E T, which is a one person operation at the owner’s residence, showed me that it is all about the owner’s needs. He was not there at the advertised hours of 9AM to 5PM. He kept me waiting for a scheduled appointment for 45 minutes locked out in the cold winter weather.\r\n\r\nI could not get my telephone calls answered by a person, and messages left over a four day period to the machine were never returned. I don’t care to transact business with disfunctional and negative management styles. I have more self respect than to tolerate negative behavior on the part of a business that treats me shabbily, so I took my money and went elsewhere.
