Diagnosis

Extremely disappointed in their service and attitude. We brought a vehicle there to look at a problem. That was the first issue, we should have merely gone to auto zone, where we would have got the original diagnosis that they gave us for free and not have paid $135+ for them to tell us you may or may not have an alternator problem, and you may want to replace the batteries. Again, I could have shown up to an auto zone, and they would have told me that for free. Next is that advice was “The beginning, and more than likely several more tests will need to be done, and those fixes which they quoted at over $1K may not fix the problem that we brought the vehicle in for. This tells me that this shop likes to “Throw Parts” at a problem and hope that it fixes the issue and does not truly take the time to figure out the root. Stay away from this company, I find these practices and mentality very unethical when it comes to car shops. Fortunately the shop we did end up taking the vehicle to has a better process in place and does not want to nickel and dime their customers.

They were so helpful. I had a really expensive service that had to be addressed and they helped me fully understand what was wrong and they got me connected with the NAPA car car card. \r\n\r\nThese people care about their employs and their customers and they are a great group to work with.

I took my car to the shop to have my tires changed and rotated and it ended up costing me around $600 with the excuse that the nuts had rusted and all had to be replaced. The car had some brakes job done somewhere else a few weeks earlier and there were no complaints about rusting nuts. I also requested MacComick to check on some noise coming from under the car. They checked and told me they identified the problem and that they had fixed it which cost me another $395. It turned out they had fixed nothing for I took the car to a different shop later where they identified the problem as coming from a faulty suspension system. These guys are totally dishonest and I would never advise anyone to take their cars to them. They need to be reported.
