Engine work and servicing on our Lambretta Scooters

Owner is a very nice man and takes lots of time to answer your questions and to offer advice BUT (and it’s a big BUT) my bike was returned with a couple deep scratches in the plastic body panels, a tear in the seat, they lost my helmet hook and the kickstand was so loose if vibrated off. When I called about the kickstand they claimed not to know what might have happened because “it was on the kickstand the whole time they’d had it.” They had the bike in a million pieces working on it. I know because I was there several times while the parts were on order to photograph the issue so I could inform the manufacturer of the defect. Granted he “fixed” the kickstand when I rode it into the shop but now the spring is overstretched and it won’t stay up or go up on it’s own. They also said they would “look around for the hook”. It’s not even a part I can order as a replacement 🙁 I bought my scooter brand new. I have kept it inside, carefully wiped it down if I rode in the rain before I put it away and washed it every few days. I loved my bike. Very disappointing.
