Replaced Transmission Did Not Need One!

25 Sep, 2015

marvin

I took my car in for a noise while it was in gear. They told me I needed a new transmission. After they installed it my car was still making the same noise. Bob said it needed an “adjustment and needed my car an extra day. Major inconvenience! When asked what adjustment was needed he was very vague and never did tell me. A year later my car was making the same noise. I took it to another mechanic who said it was not the transmission and a simple cooling system repair fixed the problem! The cost of replacing the transmission was $3,000.00. The cost to fix the cooling system was $20.00. I was ripped off for $3,000.00! Stay away from this shop, I wish I would have read all the bad reviews online about this guy before going there! Had to choose one star, should be negative 100 stars!
