Collision repair

I brought in my car to repair a smash in the back. When my repair was done the trunk did not align properly. Frank the manager gave me a couple of excuses why it didn’t fit properly. First, it was ‘they all look like that – go look on the lot’. When I sent a pic of my car 2 weeks prior to the wreck, with the trunk aligned, I received no response. When I returned to have my trunk adjusted Frank refused and told me the power trunk closer warps all of these deck lids. I contacted my insurance as they guaranteed the repairs, they called the shop while I was on the phone, and they said bring it in tomorrow. I sent my wife to the shop where they told her the same ‘warped trunk’ excuse and wouldn’t do anything about correcting the problem. I decided to fix it myself – I have worked body and paint for over 20 years and was certified as a master paint and body tech by I-CAR.\r\nWhen I pulled the stuff out of the trunk, the floor was covered with surface rust from left over metal grinding debris that was never cleaned up. I had to fix that too. I gave 2 stars as the paint work was excellent.
