I wanted a engine for a work boat and purchased a 90 hp that Jack told me was a “great engine with good compression” knowing I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money but wanted a reliable engine Jack sold me his engine for $2,500.00 …. I trusted Jack and his mechanic put it on my boat … His mechanic told me what a good,reliable engine it was. After purchase I went to the boat dock and after driving it 1/4 of a mile — it stalked never to work again !!! I had a mechanic look at it and was told it was complete junk. It wasn’t worth $200 !!! The mechanic told me the engine had signs of running extremely hot for long periods of time and pointed out melted components …. He told me “no reputable mechanic would ever sell this engine to anybody ” \r\nOf course when I called Jack he immediately told me “what did you do to it — and failed to offer any resolution to the situation …. After the initial call — he has refused to even answer my calls again ….. If you are looking to get ripped off — this is your place — stay away Jack and his mechanic are cooks
