What a great experience.\r\nI was referred by another very well respected automotive mechanic shop in the area when my original choice wasn’t able to fit me in. I was looking at a used car for our daughter and had Dodds do the checkup. Not only were they able to fit me in with my very narrow time constraint, they did a detailed inspection and had it done within the hour. They walked me through what they’d found on the phone (I was in Seattle) and gave me a very honest opinion and realistic quote for the work that would be needed. In addition to all of the above, they refused to charge me anything for their work! I really couldn’t believe it. \r\nThough we decided against that particular vehicle, I will definitely keep Dodds in my phone as a “go-to” shop for the Tacoma area and would recommend them without reservation. \r\nA great find.

They are more competent than the dealership is. They were able to fix a wiring problem on my Mazda the right way the first time and charged a fair price. I am very happy with Dodd’s.

This is a great shop with some very skilled mechanics working there. I ad my car in last week for some belts hoses and a head gasket. The car had not been driven for a while and I brought it in to get it going again. The work completed was great and the car runs like new again. Im ery pleased with this shop.
