Door/Window Install

02 Aug, 2012

jon

I DO NOT recommend you use this contractor for any window/door related work. The installation was so poor that I was required to hire an alternate contractor and pay them $1,250 to correct all the mistakes Dave Vick and Econo Glass made.\r\n\r\nI hired Econo Glass (Dave Vick) to install two sliding glass doors, a french door, and five windows. The french door was installed (by the side and top fins) and it sat nearly an inch above the ground and the threshold would bend/deflect when you stepped on it. The windows and doors were not square. The windows were not measured correctly and different size trim (between 1/4 and 1 1/2 inches) was required between the ceiling and the window frame.\r\n\r\nDave Vick did not return to fix the windows and he was extremely confrontational.
