On this visit I was assisted by a Ms. Shirley Gillespie. After diagnosing the problem I had starting my vehicle, Ms. Gillespie informed me that I had several problems. One of the problems was that my battery was going bad, or dying. She presented me with a repair estimate of approximately 200.00. I questioned the price of the repair, stating to her that, “I’d be better off taking care of it myself.” She assured me that the bulk of the estimate was due to the diagnosis. Once I received the bill, I discovered that I had actually paid over 200.00 for a car battery. I knew I should not have listened to her, and went with my instinct. Unfortunately, she lied, and I paid for a very valuable lesson. What I found to be out right despicable, was the fact that she told me an out right lie, and was nowhere in sight when I came to pick up my vehicle. For some reason, when Ms. Gillespie decided to tell me that me vehicle was ready (6 hours later), she decided to go to lunch; how clever. It just goes to show. No matter how you dress them up, a “crook and a thief” is still a “crook and a thief”.
