I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he’s part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. Kevin and his mechanics are great! Every time I go there they are very honest and polite. I broke down on the Hutchinson and they had a tow truck come for me within 30mins. I don’t know what I would have done without them. Thanks guys.

Had car in another shop for 2 1/2 weeks. I drove it in BUT had to tow it out. I found Kevin Hughes here on Mechanic’s Advisor. I called to talk and interrogate him. Kevin was professional and understanding if though I told him talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. I towed my car to his place. He check my car and showed me what was wrong and what needed to be done. He told me approx. hours of work and the cost. He even said I could wait and watch which I did from a safe distance. His team did the job in 2 1/2 hours. Time and cost was in range of quote and everyone was professional.\r\nKevin was pleasant yet professional.
