Went to Medford Autowash for the first time today since some of the Covid 19 restrictions had eased up in NJ. The associates who were doing the work to clean and wash the vehicles were very friendly and courteous as they had been in the past. I went to pay for the service and showed a coupon for the carwash on my phone and was told that it could not be honored since I had not taken the time to PRINT the coupon on to a piece of paper. I receive text messages from the same establishment with different perks randomly for 50% off a wash or a free wash for your Birthday and have shown them the text on the phone and that was OK, trying to be environmentally conscious I felt I could do the same with a website coupon, makes sense right? No, sorry no discount unless you print the coupon, and yes the page before says to print to redeem but what world are we living in at this point? They can’t make an exception to this and possibly realize that they would actually be helping the environment but not requiring people to physically print coupons? The guys who do the “Real Work” there are great, maybe management can learn a few things from them.
