transmission exam

I took my 2006 jeep to Redlich because I was told I had a problem with my transmission. The person at Redlich,I think his name was Tim told me I needed a new transmission. He could not tell me what was wrong with my transmission ,but did tell me the new one would cost $2,500. I said no thanks and left with my vehicle. On the way home I stopped at another transmission shop. I told them the problem and they put it on the rack and within 10 minutes they told me there was no problem with the transmission. All I needed was a new drive shaft…a $250 part! With tax and labor, it cost me all of $307.70. Thank God for Mikes Transmissions, and SHAME ON REDLICH! I just worry about the seniors who might not know any better.
