This family owned repair shop has been trusted for 72 years, they have to be honest and fair to stay in business that many years.

Here is my experience: I had a sudden broken brake line so I took it to Resta’s as it was the closest station in this emergency. They were very friendly and nice. I had some idea from speaking with a knowledgeable friend about what (at least in his opinion) the repair should cost. His figure was $250-300 based on the hourly rate of the labor involved. When I went to pick up the car, my bill was $450. I suggested that seemed high but 3 of them in the shop all started happily justifying at once, so I handed over my credit card and paid the $450. The next day I went to 3 other shops including the Jeep dealership and was quoted each time within $50 of $250 — and at the Jeep dealer I told them I wanted BOTH lines replaced. The bill was still $300. I went back to Resta’s and politely questioned Carlo about it suggesting he should adjust the bill. His answer was nasty “Why should I do that?” Just a warning — they’re prone to take advantage.
