Ordered on October 13, 2020 and waited 3 months for an ARE truck topper due to Covid. Turns out an employee says he called and left a message (reviewed Verizon record NO CALL NO MESSAGE) on January 14, 2021. I called the business twice since that date and was told I would have to wait for the call (it was already delivered to their business supposedly January 14.) Did not listen to me or check. For almost a month they failed to do any follow up call. I had to pay for another month storage fee for a trailer because of this. Called twice since January 14 and the owner still failed to check or communicate with his employee. I finally called ARE Customer Service and they said they would check status with an “N” number (topper serial #). I called owner and he said he didn’t have an N number and seemed to not know what I was talking about. Suddenly I get an upbeat message on my phone from another employee saying to schedule my install. No apology, no admission that 2 people at this business failed. They had 1000 deposit for 4 months. When I asked for a discount because of this failure they became intractable. Losing trust in their ability to install without further problems I asked for my 1000 back and they said they and A.R.E would charge me my deposit as a restocking fee even though THEY had it in stock for almost a month. I had one choice: pay the money, get it installed. ARE ended up getting involved. Beware if they make a mistake… they did not acknowledge it. BTW I found out the hard way that when they went into my left brake light electric bundle the left break light was not working when driven away from their shop.

This place is great not just for installation but for customer service after the sale. I am going back next week to inquire about a audio system.
