When I originally called to have my truck’s transmission repaired i was informed that the full overhaul would include a 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty that was good nationwide. Now, 10 weeks after the transmission was rebuilt it failed again. I am in a different state and wish to have my transmission repaired by a local shop. The original repair shop refuses to cover any repairs from any other shop. They insist that I return the truck to them for repairs. Being 1100 miles away, this is not feasible.
